Japan Airlines Embraces IoT with the help of NTT Communications

As part of their 2015 Embrace New Challenges initiative, Japan Airlines tested a health monitoring system to prevent heatstroke in employees who work outdoors. The system leveraged NTT Communications’ cloud platform and mobile communication services. Three employees were outfitted with hitoe® wearables that monitored their heart rate and other biometric information.
